Unexpected Text Duplication When Dragging and Dropping Manuscript Texts in Write Mode

When I select a block of text in a manuscript and drag it to a different location, such as an earlier scene or a new chapter, I expect the text to be moved to that location. However, it is instead copied, resulting in duplicated prose at the new location. Is this a deliberate design choice or a bug? This behavior deviates from the typical 'drag & drop' user interface expectations, potentially useful for duplicating text but risky if done unintentionally without noticing that the duplication had happened.

I have known for this for quite a while, but it's a behavior from the text editing library I use. It can copy from A to B, but it won't remove from the original.
