This prose: "I had a drink in my hand—something the Harmony Station staff had sourced specifically for human guests, an Astralarian vintage I half-recognized—and I was standing near the inner edge of the room where the crowd was thinner, watching the window and thinking about the math of it. That was the outer edge. That was what Keiran had told me—full membership, pending capability thresholds. Which meant that if this had not happened, if the work of thirty-four years had stalled or collapsed or been derailed by any one of a dozen moments where it could have gone the other way—" _________________________________ The number that starts the 2nd paragraph is triggering the editor into thinking it is an ordered list... One that starts with 2076! It indents the entire paragraph after it as an ordered list. If I turn off ordered list, it NUKES the 2076. I cannot win. I need a way to tell the editor to knock it off.

The AI said that custom sorting the codex is simply drag and drop but I never was able to make that happen so then it told me to write a bug report. I see others have asked for this. Are we getting close?

Export and re-import (for instance, to create a new novel from existing material in a former novel) in Markdown and Word is faulty. When re-importing a novel into NC from a previous export, the hierarchy of Novel / Act / Chapter / Scenes is changed (without tweaking the import file): the Scenes are turned into Chapters, and the Scenes are then copied inside, which amounts to many chapters with just one scene in each + a blank scene.

Using Novel Template to make a copy of my novel copied everything EXCEPT the codex, which i made sure was selected. Tried twice with same result.

I have a planning "novel" where I have developed all of my story arcs in snippets, and it also has the codex I use for all of my novels. I was starting a new book and wanted to use the planning book as the template so I could have all of the snippets (I planned on removing the ones I no longer needed). I tried it several times and that dog won't hunt. It never returns from the create novel function. I even went and watched Project Hail Mary and it was not done, so that was over 4 hours. I selected create a novel, use template, the planning "novel", and options codex and snippets only. I have 810 codex entries and 162 snippets. A handful of the snippets are huge - they have the prose of two other novels, so 136K words and 104K words. There is no way to import all of the snippets but if I uncheck the snippets, it seems to work.

They're also broken even when not pinned. Note that the main chat area is fine (I think). But the sidebar is just a mess. It frequently displays the wrong chat. The screenshot provided shows the pinned chat is the DSv3 one (see title) which has 4 messages (or whatever they're called), yet NovelCrafter says the chat is empty, which is only true for the DS R1 chat in the main window. Basically, NC seems to mix the active chat with the saved chat and you end up with a useless mess. Note: Issue tested with Chrome browser.

If you Ctrl+C a highlighted portion of a section's text and then Ctrl+Shift+V to paste it without formatting, the section's entire prose is pasted, when the expected result would be to only paste the highlighted words (and indeed this is how it worked before the Nov 5th update). Regular Ctrl+V pastes only the highlighted words in a new section as expected.

Intermittently, when making a first change in a scene, the cursor jumps to the end of the scene, leaving the first character written in the place where it was before and starting to write in the new place.

When the browser window reaches a certain height (but not yet tall enough to display the full content), the "Tracking" tab of a codex entry is cut off. No scrollbar appears (as shown in screenshot) and scrolling does not work at all. (If browser/OS is relevant, I'm on macOS Tahoe and the bug happens in both Safari and Firefox)
