When the chat option dialog is open, the dialog window does not scroll if the mouse pointer is inside any of the dialog area (even its internal background). It scrolls only when the overall window scrolls (i.e., when the mouse pointer is in the screen area outside the dialog) Browser: Edge, current version OS: Windows 11, current version Repro: Open any chat prompt that has a large set of options Open the chat settings dialog Use scroll wheel inside dialog: dialog does not scroll Use scroll wheel outside dialog: dialog scrolls Expected result: Dialog should scroll inside or outside dialog, perhaps except for scrollable text areas within the dialog that might consume scroll events first Actual result: See repro steps

The app kicks me out while I'm working. Refresh or “try again” doesn't work. I need to close the app and sign in again to continue working. Furthermore, I constantly get the error message “Sync fail” while working. Retry usually works, but currently I don't trust NovelCrafter anymore. I've only recently started using the app. Unfortunately, my previous impression is negative, I'm afraid of a data loss/crash. I am unable to access the workspace in any project. When I click the cover image of any novel (including brand‑new projects), Novelcrafter attempts to load /storyboard but immediately falls back into a restricted view showing only: Codex Snippets Chats The full workspace sidebar (Storyboard, Manuscript, Codex, Snippets, Chats) never appears. This happens with: Existing projects Newly created projects After clearing cache After clearing site data After logging out and back in In multiple browsers (Chrome and Edge) Even in a brand‑new account created with a different email Because even a fresh account and a fresh project fail in the same way, this appears to be a workspace initialization failure at the application level, not a project‑specific issue. I am currently unable to access Storyboard or Manuscript in any project, which blocks all normal use of the app. Please reset or repair whatever server‑side workspace state is preventing the workspace from loading.

The tracking tab is being weird. To reproduce: 1 open any codex entry 2 click on the "Tracking" tab. Going by my experience, nothing will happen. If you want to access the Tracking tab, you need to first click on any other tab in the codex entry. Then you can access the Tracking tab.

This "bug" cuts the workflow a lot. The "correct" way for this feature to act, I think, is that it should open the entry in the category you are working at, the very item you are clicking. Not sure if it is doable, but it would be neat.

Using Novel Template to make a copy of my novel copied everything EXCEPT the codex, which i made sure was selected. Tried twice with same result.

In prompt, when you go to advanced to add inputs; you can add 'Text' or 'Dropdown'. When you select dropdown, and uncheck text and then start to add to your dropdown menu, it seem to choose its own format for each Input. So one time it's a dropdown menu and another time it decides to just put everything in there. I want everything to be a dropdown (hence why I chose it). But the settings of all inputs are the same. So I'm a bit baffled on what's going on here. The amount of options doesn't matter. When I was testing and playing around with the inputs, even as much as 3 options gave me a dropdown menu. You can also see it in the preview. One thing he gives me 'buttons' another is the dropdown menu I want. I hope someone can help, as the choice it makes seem entirely random.

I’m experiencing an issue where NovelCrafter appears to generate successfully through OpenRouter-supported providers, but my OpenRouter account remains in a negative balance even after adding credits. All generations complete with status 200 and incur usage, but the metadata consistently shows: "provider_api_key_id": null "is_byok": false I think NovelCrafter is not actually using my OpenRouter API key, even though OpenRouter is selected. I have confirmed my OpenRouter account is active, credits were added successfully, multiple providers/models generate without error The issue persists across providers (Novita, DeepInfra, xAI, Together, Hyperbolic)

Problems connecting with api providers in mobile browsers. No problem connecting on my laptop, so it isn’t the vendors themselves. I did allow trackers on novelcrater websites. It didn’t help.
