Workspace fails to load — all projects open directly into Codex/Snippets/Chats view

I am unable to access the workspace in any project. When I click the cover image of any novel (including brand‑new projects), Novelcrafter attempts to load /storyboard but immediately falls back into a restricted view showing only:
- Codex
- Snippets
- Chats
The full workspace sidebar (Storyboard, Manuscript, Codex, Snippets, Chats) never appears.
This happens with:
- Existing projects
- Newly created projects
- After clearing cache
- After clearing site data
- After logging out and back in
- In multiple browsers (Chrome and Edge)
- Even in a brand‑new account created with a different email
Because even a fresh account and a fresh project fail in the same way, this appears to be a workspace initialization failure at the application level, not a project‑specific issue.
I am currently unable to access Storyboard or Manuscript in any project, which blocks all normal use of the app.
Please reset or repair whatever server‑side workspace state is preventing the workspace from loading.

Hi there - if your'e on mobile this is to be expected. It defaults to only showing the "sidebar content" (e.g. Codex, Snippets, Chats). To access the rest of the app (and close the 'sidebar'), use the button in the top right corner:
We're aware that this is not as intuitive and are already planning a redesign for the mobile experience.

spaceemotion I'm not on mobile. I'm on a Windows 11 desktop machine. I already tried the up arrow you suggested. Doesn't solve it. I'm still stuck. HELP. The app is absolutely unusable. The only thing that still works for me is the chat. I'm doing all my writing in chat and copy/pasting into MS Word as a workaround. Saying it's "not as intuitive" is a terrific understatement. I feel like you're brushing me off. This is definitely NOT "to be expected." It's unworkable!
