Please please please prioritize this! I fly multiple times per year with flights sometimes as long as ten hours where the airplane wifi can be really unstable. Not being able to even READ my manuscript is extremely limiting. Offline mode is a must!

That should be a priority. I've just discovered this editor, but I want to be able to work offline. Because of that I am looking elsewhere for this option.

Offline mode is indeed very important, and I only discovered Novelcrafter recently. I had planned to become a member, but because of the slow access in China, I gave up. I look forward to being able to use the offline version.

This would be fantastic! I often have Internet outages that stops me from writing. Even just a read only mode would be great for now.

100% agree. I work at sea and spend days without an internet connection and to be able to use NC without the bells and whistles, but still be able to write on my story would be sensational.

Novelcrafter has been planned and developed with a future offline mode in mind. This might take a while though. Right now we're focusing on a great online experience before tackling this :)

spaceemotion Mostly build on react or similar I'm guessing, Seems like it could be bundled in a Electron wrapper no different than obsidian pretty easily?

Effective Barnacle Proper offline mode is something large companies with big teams take many, many years (e.g. it took Notion like 5 years or something?). There's a lot of edge cases to consider, and it's one of the hardest problems in modern software development, going back all the way to 1989 and there's still unsolved challenges to this day.
We're working on it - step by step, every day in fact -, but it will be a couple more years until we can say "done!"
(also, Novelcrafter is not written in React, it uses Vue :) )
