Collapse grid view to just chapter/scene headings

Another request to be able to collapse what's visible in the grid view to just the info we choose (some sort of EXPAND settings). I wanted to just move a couple of chapters to after a few chapters later. As I have summaries of all my scenes, it almost always means each chapter takes up the full height of the screen. I have to drag and sloooowly scroll down the page until it finally gets to the area I want to move the chapter. It's incredibly frustrating and there's no easier way or view mode to do this sort of scene/chapter moving.

Yes. I find this one of the biggest annoyances. It's so hard to re-arrange scenes, etc. Even adding a new scene isn't easy because you have to scroll to the bottom to do it, and if there are a lot of scenes, it's a long process. The scenes should collapse and provide you with the Chapter & Scene Number like it does, but there should also be a heading you can add that displays when it's collapsed. The heading would help when I'm looking at this grid of Chapters and Scenes. I may not remember what a particular scene contains by the number alone. The heading would allow me to enter a text title so I know what's in the scene, i.e. "The Mission Begins." Also, the grid view should be just that, a grid. Unless I'm missing a setting somewhere, all of my scenes are stacked vertically on the screen instead of in rows and columns.

This just came up in Discord today. Since this is different to the "collapse chapters" feedback, and keeps the scenes, this should be easier to do :)

spaceemotion This will do, maybe even encourage me to do several scenes chapters again.

Brave Frog Does the "small" scene card height not work for you in the interim? it's already pretty small, and at a fixed height, too.

spaceemotion For rearranging chapters/scenes and planning adding more chapters in the middle of Acts, not really. In the grid, I got my setup to medium height, medium width to read and edit the summaries as needed.
But when it comes to "outlining" or trying to see at the big picture plotting, is too much scrolling. That's why I have been asking for a navigating panel revamp so many times.

NC is phenomenal, and this would make it phenomenal-er!! I struggle so much moving scenes because of long scene descriptions. Would love this.
