Hi Novelcrafter Team,

I’d like to suggest a feature for the “Summarize Scene” function.

It would be extremely useful to have a batch summarization option that allows users to select multiple scenes and then generate summaries for all of them using the same selected AI model and summarization prompt.

For example:

Select 20 or 50 scenes

Choose the AI model

Choose the summarization prompt

Click “Summarize Selected Scenes”

Novelcrafter processes all selected scenes automatically and saves the summaries to the respective scenes

This would be particularly useful when importing an existing novel. At the moment, generating summaries for every scene individually is quite time-consuming.

A simple checkbox or multi-select option in the scene list would already be sufficient.

I think this would be a very useful addition for anyone importing existing manuscripts or working with larger projects.
