Prompt Preview

I suggest adding a "Prompt Preview" button, which, when pressed, would allow you to see the full prompt in a pop-up window before sending it to the neural network. The problem is that NovelCrafter is a great program with very flexible prompt options, but it has many placeholders. Without the ability to see the full prompt before sending it, you can't always understand precisely what the neural network will receive as input, or which specific fragments will replace the placeholders. For debugging and flexible tuning of prompts, a preview is simply essential.
Many thanks.

Last part of this is done: the next release will include prompt previews for chat! It will require a message in the question box (so you can't run it without any text in there), but the system will tell you, if it's missing.
That way, when you're happy, you just need to hit "send" after closing the preview.

It would be nice, if we got a preview prompt for the workshop chat. So I can check how the AI is working with my custom prompts and make it more efficient regarding what I see.
Thanks always, you have a great platform out here.

First Update went live, and adds a preview for scene beats, summarization and text replacements. Chats are still in the works!

A "prompt playground" where you can validate and test your prompts is on the roadmap already 👍

Many thanks for your efforts – it's truly exceptional work. However, if it's feasible, I'd like to suggest considering the addition of a feature to preview each prompt with an option to copy it to the clipboard. The main idea is to enable users not only to send prompts via API but also to simply use copy/paste for inserting prompts into the chatbot through the standard chat interface. Admittedly, this might not be as convenient as the API option, but it has the advantage of being free and not consuming tokens for those with a subscription. This feature would add even more flexibility and power to NovelCrafter.
