Mini-prompt for a mini-rewrite

Sometimes the AI gets something very wrong. It doesn't happen often, but when it does usually I just go in and edit the prose directly and move on.
It would be nice however if I could select the words/ paragraph that the AI got wrong and have the AI rewrite it for me. Except there's no way to do that natively. I can expand the selected text. I can shorten. I can even have the AI rephrase it. But I have no way to tell the AI, "Please rewrite the selected text. Sarah has brown hair, not blonde hair." (For example.)
Of course I'm using a very basic example for the sake of this feedback when in reality the level of screwup by the AI is often much more indepth than simply getting a character's hair color wrong. I've got a character that went through a life-altering event in their life and the current chapter takes place after they have gone through a sort of metamorphosis. The AI (I'm using WizardLM through Infermatic) every once in a while includes events or refers to the character as if they haven't lost their arms and legs by an IED (for example) which frankly makes no sense for the current chapter and hell, even the current scene beat!
So being able to select some text, or an entire paragraph or more and tell the AI, "Please rewrite this taking into account the protagonist has no arms and legs and therefore can't run the Boston Marathon!" would be very helpful.

Please add this. I miss this feature from sudowrite.
It seems I can use chat which is better than nothing, but this will be a major productivity booster.

need this! for now i just open a chat to the left in the sidebar, select that chapter as the context, and tell it "rewrite this part so that this happens instead" and it works alright. Would like the select, right click, rewrite button though.

Upvoting! This would be handy. I would use it a lot.

Yes, this would be great, instead of having to copy/paste into Chat and interrupt the flow of writing. And also, having the new rewritten section turn up in addition to the old, for ease of comparison.

This would be great. fwiw, if it helps as a workaround, I've cloned all the Text Replacement prompts and added a line that says something like, "if there are words in brackets ([]), use that as context for the expand/revise/etc. Do not return the bracketed instructions in the text." Then I type my instructions in brackets right in the prose, & highlight that as well as the text I want replaced.

I would like a choice of 3 answers - if possible. Don't rub out the existing!

I concur. I would love to be able to highlight a bit, then have the option of giving instructions of how I want it expanded or rewritten instead of letting it guess.
