With today's LLMs (Grok4, ChatGPT 4.5, Claude 4 Sonnet), it is possible to generate very long outputs in one go. My workflow is that I think very intensively about my short story and then prepare beats in great detail. I would now like to deliver all beats in one go to have a complete short story created (similar to Sudowrite recently). Volume 3000 words. I also specify the word count directly via prompt.

However, Novelcrafter only ever gives me about 1400-1500 words. No matter what I set.

With the chatbots themselves, this is no problem.

Does Novelcrafter have internal throttling to max output here?

I use the standard Promt: “Write {input (“Words”)} words that continue the story, using the following instructions:”
