Several chapters are missing between Chapter 5 and chapter 6. They just went missing and I don't know why. I wasn't deleting I was adding. The name of the book is Forbidden Fruit. It just happened an hour ago. Please help!

I have created a clone/copy of the General Purpose system message prompt so I can write non fiction, I have put in there all the instructions, but when I go to Writing and try to use codex or snippet so that it knows what non fiction I want to write, it doesn't work. I am on a paid subscription now for nearly a week and I think the service for the price is a scam. I am very disappointed in Novelcrafter.

Hi. I've started a novel inspired by the short stories of the Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, but the instructions the AI, any AI, is getting is to follow every chapter as if I'm writing a long form novel. It keeps reaching back for irrelevant evidence from a previous story. This happened with both Toppy and Llama. I need to be able to treat each chapter as a short story, and I don't believe I know of a formatting option for that.

Can you provide a category for short stories much like you have with Novels? They are a different beast entirely and it is where my heart lies. TYI Joel

One day I found I was able to move the chat panel so that I would appear next to my text rather than on top of it and now that feature is gone. I would love to be able to look at the chat panel and back at my text without clicking back and forth

Hi, With today's LLMs (Grok4, ChatGPT 4.5, Claude 4 Sonnet), it is possible to generate very long outputs in one go. My workflow is that I think very intensively about my short story and then prepare beats in great detail. I would now like to deliver all beats in one go to have a complete short story created (similar to Sudowrite recently). Volume 3000 words. I also specify the word count directly via prompt. However, Novelcrafter only ever gives me about 1400-1500 words. No matter what I set. With the chatbots themselves, this is no problem. Does Novelcrafter have internal throttling to max output here? I use the standard Promt: “Write {input (“Words”)} words that continue the story, using the following instructions:”

Name of the Novel Is "The runner", I have an exported word document thankfully but no longer access to the files

I attempted pasting a table from google docs to NovelCrafter, but it didn't keep it as a table. What do I do?

No matter what I try, only the system prompts for text changes appear in the reversed out typeface floating menu. The help pages suggest "style / " but this does not make prompts available where I want them, but I see what I want on YouTube. What am I missing please?
